Roundtable “Women’s initiative in the Arctic”
На круглом столе «Женщины в Арктике» с участием представителей женских общественных организаций ряда арктических регионов страны, включая представителей коренных народов Севера, будут рассмотрены вопросы развития женских инициатив в арктических регионах, создания лучших условий для жизни, общения, карьеры матерей, женщин в Арктике, решения самых острых проблем материнства и детства.
Goals:
●To discuss the development of women's initiatives in the Arctic regions;
●To create better living conditions, communication, career of mothers, women in the Arctic;
●To solve the most topical problems of motherhood and childhood.
In the focus of the discussion:
●Women's Role in the Sustainable Development and Arctic Regions Preservation;
●Improving the quality of life and increasing the status of women, social support for women in the Arctic;
●Attracting women into Arctic research as part of a comprehensive program for fundamental and applied research for the Arctic development in priority areas of science and technology
●Promoting traditional spiritual and moral values and customs of the Arctic family;
●Implementing educational, socio-cultural projects of women in the Arctic;
●To support women when implementing economic projects of indigenous peoples of the North aimed at preservation of the traditional way of life of the indigenous peoples living in the Arctic zone;
●Legal education and legal expertise of the current legislation on family, motherhood, fatherhood and childhood;
●Inclusion of women in the process of digital transformation of the Arctic region, in the development of new information and communication technologies.
