Digital Urban Planning and Illumination Design in Northern Cities
The color urbanism of northern cities combines cold gray and white tones. In winter, light shades of snow prevail, while in summer, bright accents of greenery and sunlight are added. The architecture is often minimalist, using natural materials.
Lighting design is crucial in the conditions of short days: the lighting should be bright and comfortable, with LED lamps commonly used. Decorative lighting in parks and on fa-cades creates a cozy atmosphere for evening strolls.
