Roundtable THE PROJECT "ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION"

The program of the Russian Chairmanship includes annual roundtables on the project in Naryan-Mar, Norilsk and Yakutsk.

In April 2021, as per NF Resolution # 233, the Children of the Arctic Project was endorsed as the priority project of the Education and Research Working Group.

The Children of the Arctic Project is crucial for the sustainable development of the region, as addressing the issue of preserving the traditional way of life and local knowledge of future generations is a key task of our time. Since 2017, the Children of the Arctic Project has been a Russia-initiated international project that became an interest of the Arctic Council countries. The project’s successful implementation requires fruitful international cooperation of the circumpolar countries and regions, both at the official and expert levels.
