North-Eastern Federal University, together with the Northern Forum, are taking the initiative to create the Russian-Asian Consortium for Arctic Research. The idea of the Consortium is to create a scheme for the implementation of joint pro-ject activities to study topical issues of sustainable development of the North and the Arctic regions, as well as to develop joint interdisciplinary courses and ex-change programs in order to develop cooperation in the Arctic-Asia direction.<\/p>\n
