The objective of this dispute is to present the unique indicators of economic behavior of the representatives of the researched social group, identified in 2019-2021 during the field research, and the theoretical research to the scientific community. Questioning and interviewing of more than 260 respondents, as well as the descriptive characteristics of life of the peoples doing traditional economy, allowed to identify the level of subjective well-being of the indigenous peoples of the Russian Arctic and to find links between the psychological time and economic attitudes. To find a model that sets a positive trend for the economic behavior transformation, the current and possible legal forms of organizing a traditional economy have been investigated.
