V Interregional Scientific-Practical Conference "ARCTIC VECTOR: "The Arctic - Challenges to Public Health".

Organizers: Ministry for Arctic Development and Indigenous Affairs of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia), Ministry of Health of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia), Academy of Sciences of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia), Medical Institute of the North-Eastern Federal University.

The purpose of the conference is to consolidate the accumulated knowledge and best practices that meet the challenges of public health in the Arctic, and include them in strategic planning documents; strengthening inter-regional cooperation and cooperation for the development of projects and the promotion of best practices.

Discussion will include the final materials of the strategic session on the design of a regional program for the development of healthcare in the Arctic regions of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia), held in Yakutsk on August 4, 2022, on healthcare issues in the Arctic regions of the Russian Federation. The goal is to develop proposals for improving the existing mechanisms for the provision of medical services in the Far North and equivalent areas.

The materials of the strategic session on the design of the regional program for the development of healthcare in the Arctic regions of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) are attached.

Representatives of medical organizations, state and municipal authorities, academia and civil society of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation will attend the conference.
