Section “Personnel for the Arctic”

At present, the Arctic is one of the priorities of the socio-economic development of the Russian Federation and the centre of territorial, resource and military-strategic interests of the world community. When organizing the Arctic policy, it is necessary to focus on ensuring the integrated development of the region and socially responsible policy. One of the key issues is the training and attraction of qualified personnel to the Arctic regions. It is necessary to implement thoughtful measures to attract and develop human capital in the Arctic, including not only social support, benefits, but also training programs for the Arctic regions, taking into account the climatic, environmental, social and other features of the Arctic. The sustainable development of the Arctic can only be realized by the true masters of the Arctic.

The main activities of the state in the Arctic zone should be the improvement of infrastructure, the solution of social problems of the indigenous population, the efficient use of resources, social policy aimed at preserving and increasing the population of the Arctic.
