As of today, volunteering is, without a doubt, an element of social responsibility and a manifestation of a developed civil society. Now, more than ever, the modern society needs a significant volunteer movement. The desire to be useful penetrates all areas of life. For an individual, participation in volunteer activities promotes personal and professional identity, especially for young people; it improves their communication skills, and various communities of interests and hobbies are created. This session will become a platform for discussion and exchange of ideas for young people from the northern regions of our large country and other countries, united by the idea of volunteering and the desire to make the North region the best place to live and implement the brightest ideas.
Based on the results of the work of this session, the foundations will be laid for the subsequent creation of a group of active youth members, involved in the creation and implementation of various volunteer projects in the North and the Arctic.
